Keep travel plans and event details together
Where are we meeting, and who has the booking details?
Details get lost when they are scattered across messages. The plan gives the crew one place to find the current itinerary, preparation and useful links.
Create the occasion first
Add an idea or event and review its date and location. You do not need a finished itinerary before you ask who is interested.
Write the next useful details
Open The plan and choose Edit together. Start with where to meet, what to bring, how to travel and who needs to do what. Keep the important information near the top.
Choose who can read the notes
Notes are member-only by default. Enable sharing with the event link only when the current contents are suitable for anyone who receives that link. Do not include passwords, payment information or sensitive booking references in public notes.
Keep the current version clear
Members can inspect previous revisions. If someone saves while you are editing, your unsaved text stays visible so you can load the latest version and reconcile the changes.
Questions before you start
Is this different from a comment?
Yes. Use The plan for the current instructions and comments for the discussion around them. Update the plan when a decision changes what people need to know.
Do guests get access to the whole group?
No. An event link exposes the shared event details and any notes deliberately shared with that link, not the group's private conversations or other plans.
